Kayak;Cross Infinite Memories - Early Access

Kayak;Cross Infinite Memories in an upcoming racing game based on the sport of kayak cross. Currently only an endless runner mode is playable.

We hope to be able to update the game in the future with more content and a proper racing mode, however we are currently unsure if we have the rights to this game. The current build is a slightly more polished version of what we made for a game jam before realizing the networking features did not work in WebGL.

Gameplay

In this game you can play on tracks based on iconic New Zealand locations such as: Auckland, Nelson, and Te-Oneroa-a-Tōhē. Each track is set up to match the time of day and weather conditions in your current location.

Your goal is to survive as long as possible against the constant barrage of obstacles.

Controls

1. W and S move the left oar up and down
2. Up Arrow and Down Arrow - move the right oar up and down

Content

The game features 16 characters (24 counting echoes), with more hopefully being added via free content updates, alongside stages, boats, etc. 

Item Shop

Variant colors can be bought from a daily-rotating item shop based on your account's personal seed, alongside a "featured" section containing a global selection of curated colors. The shop-keeps also a bit of a rumormonger... wonder what that's about?

All currency is earned via-playing Kayak;Cross Infintie Memories and holds no monetary value, there are no in-game purchases.

In addition to the free content downloads and item shop features, this game also features cloud-saves. Log-in on whatever device you'd like without having to worry about your save data.
